Miquel
Àngel Amer i Boixareu holds
a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from the Ramon
Llull University, and a Masters in Computerised Production
Engineering and Robotics from the Catalan Institute
of Technology and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
Was awarded a grant for his Doctorate from the Catalan
Government, obtaining a ‘cum laude’. His
Masters dissertation was a scheme for a domotic installation
for a public building.
He currently combines a post as university lecturer
with his professional engineering practice. As university
lecturer, has served on many evaluation tribunals for
end-of-career projects in Technical Industrial Engineering.
Has also been involved in drawing up his school’s
Emergency Plan and in introducing the Law on Prevention
of Occupational Risks.
He belongs to the Catalan Industrial Engineers’
Association, membership number 12,701. |

Josep
Pérez i Casas qualified
as a Technical Architect at the Polytechnic University
of Catalonia, professional membership no. 6,427.
With over twenty years’ experience, has been involved
in the construction and reform of public buildings throughout
Catalonia (cinemas, shopping centres, schools, industrial
premises, etc.).
Has also worked in engineering fields on projects including
electricity and air conditioning installations, rehabilitation
of houses and flats.
Is an expert in all relevant legal regulations (procedures
for activities permits, minor works, compliance with
environmental provisions, emergency and fire prevention
plans, etc.).
Is also a specialist in Health and Safety at Work and
has professional training in the field.
